1. PLEASE READ all the detailed information in this SHOW INFO PACKET

2. SIGN UP for an audition time slot (if auditioning).

3. COMPLETE your Actor/Tech Crew APPLICATION

4. PREPARE two monologues from this packet to perform at your audition.

5. HELP spread the word and invite others to audition!

Shining Light Theater offers high-quality theatrical productions with Biblical messages, focusing on faith and God’s light.

“The Handpicked Queen” brings the powerful true story of Esther to life in a fresh, theatrical way. Taken from her home and heritage to become queen of Persia, Esther soon discovers a plot to destroy her people. To stop it, she must reveal her identity to the king and risk her life. Guided by her cousin Mordecai and strengthened by her faith in God, she steps forward with courage. Filled with tension and divine purpose, this production reminds us that ordinary people can be placed in extraordinary moments – for such a time as this. Performances will be March 27-29, 2026 at St. Croix Lutheran Academy in West St. Paul.

Rehearsals: Mon & Tues evenings, and Sat mornings from January 19 – March 17
Tech Week: March 21-26
Performances: March 27-29
